Hi everyone.
Hope you've had some time to get creative this month.   I've been on leave so managing to spend some time each day getting messy!
My last post for the month and I was inspired by Sandra's challenge over at The Scrap Suite

I started as usual with some modelling paste through a stencil for my background then some inks randomly smooshed on using the plastic bag technique.   I used a journal card from a previous JAP kit and layered it over a paper bag.   A few more layers and it was time to embellish.
I started with my largest Little Birdie flower then added a few more resin flowers, a leaf and some pearl cabochons hearts
I added a Bitty Bow (removing the paper clip), some wordfetti, a flair button, some twine, washi and beads and rubble.   I also used a stencil to trace and then fussy cut a bird to  fly above my bird house.

Still plenty of time to enter.   Hope to see what you create.

"Crack the Egg" by Renee Iveson

This is my last post for the D'lish design team and I am very excited to share the layout  I created.

I have used the extras from the February  'Just Add Paper' (JAP)  kit which makes creating a layout a breeze!

This JAP kit included lots of gorgeous D-lish goodies for a bargain price. I love the Doilies in grey and white (which are a fab stable of any stash!), the coordinating flairs and the sweet journalling bits and bots.
I love that the JAP kits have a mini stencil included too, this months was a funky heart made up of lots of smaller hearts!
The Willow Fabric Flowers are the perfect flowers to have in your stash and at only $2.20 for 4, you can afford to have all the colours! Of course no cluster would be finished without at least one paper bloom - you can check out the whole collection available at D'Lish - Here <3

You can find the details about the current Inspiration board for MARCH HERE.

A big thank to Amanda for having me back on the D'Lish DT for this term! I feel blessed to be part of such a fantastic team of creative, inspiring and fun scrappers!

Can't wait to see what you are inspired to create!

Renee xoxo

Beautiful Day - Sandra Brimelow

Well, the time has come for me to say goodbye, this is my last post as a design team member for D-lish Scraps. It has been a lovely visit again, and hopefully you have enjoyed my posts.
Beautiful Day
So my last layout, had to include some of my favourite products, for this wedding layout.
Now I am sure you will agree, a white paper doily is a great addition to many of our layouts, and yes they are one of my faves. I teamed it with a Creative cuts - heartsforget me nots and cornflowers.
Another one of my favourite products is the Colour me cuts packs, add your favourite colour product and you have your own touch to the page. I added some glimmermist to mine. I teamed that with forget me notspastel petals and cornflowers.
Thanks for having me here to share and hopefully inspire.
Happy Scrapping.

"Love, Love"

Today is the last time you will see my posts here at D-lish Scraps for a while.

So firstly, I would like to say a huge thank you to Amanda Lawrence and Amanda Hartmann and the awesome talented girls at the D-lish scraps team. It has been an amazing journey and I have enjoyed being a part of this brilliant artistic team.

Also, importantly, a big thank you to you!.. the creative community.. for your kind comments and fantastic support.

I will look forward to continuing to follow this blog, too, as a part of this wonderful community.

I have here a photo of my family captured on the south west coast of Australia. I thought that I would do this last one with my family and me and make it a bright colorful page!

I started out by applying paint on some white card stock with my favourite tool.. a brayer. Using modeling paste and a D-lish 5x5 stencil .. this stencil was from the December Advent kit. However there are similar stencils to choose from over at the store.

Once the background was compete, I used a black and white spotted paper bag behind the photo.

Next I set to embellish my page. Take a look at these close ups.

From the store, I have used.. a flair button, Journal It's, enamel dots, and die cut butterflies.

Another layout compete! Using the fabulous D-lish Scraps products!

Again, thank you all for your wonderful support.

Lots of love, Amy

"Family" by Jasmine

Hello hello.

This page background is another one of those "scrap" pieces to use up extra paint but one that I thought I would put to good use.
I know I have said it before...a number of times... but D'lish products are so fabulous to be able to just colour co-ordinate and add to a page without all of the fuss of sorting through your stash for something to 'match'.

I adore this pic of my daughter and nephew that I had to turn it into a 'multiple' photo.

I have used some coloured wire to frame my photo and using a paper doily behind it adds another layer.
I have used a "posy" of flowers on the side of my photo and added my fave... a sequin bow.
Included are some other paper flowers, resin flower, flair button, wood veneer heart, journal spots and the family word from a Christmas kit.

It is with great sadness that I am telling you this is my last post for D'lish Scraps as a designer.
It won't be my last page though as I plan to join in from "the other side" now.

To Amanda Lawrence I want to say thank you so much for having me for 2 years.
Your D'lish products are just fabulous and awesome to work with.
I have loved every minute being a part of you team and you are one unreal boss lady.

And to Amanda Hartmann.
I love all of your work and organisation behind the scenes.
You certainly made my job easier.

And to all of the girls I have designed with, your pages are always inspirational and your talent blows me away.

So thank you to everyone who has come past and looked at my pages.
I hope I have provided you with some inspiration along the way.

See you soon.

"My 3" by Anthea

Don't you just love it when you get a photo of your other half and kidlets all looking at the camera and looking happy to be in it? I do!  It happens so infrequently around here that as soon as I got this gem I knew I had to scrap it.  I had no idea how I was going to scrap it, because as usual, someone is wearing red and as much as I love red, I hate scrapping with it.
But I gave it a go and boy am I glad I did!

I started with another background that I created whilst I was scrapping my
recent layout "Voodoo Doll".  I had paint everywhere and I didn't want to waste it so I put it on a piece of cardstock for use later on.
The pattern in the background was made with a stencil that I had on hand.  This one was not a D-lish stencil, but we have tons to choose from here that work just as well.
I then went a little crazy with all types of embellishments from D-lish.  I think the only embellishment on here that isn't D-lish is my title.
I have used wire (I love this stuff so much), doilies, paper flowers, including the gorgeous Little Birdie Flower, this cute tassel ribbon from a D-lish JAP kit, a D-lish flair, a journal tag (cut in half and tucked behind the photo), faceted enamel dots, punchinella and washi tape from a D-lish JAP kit.

Thanks so much for popping by.  I hope you have enjoyed a closer look at my LO and I hope I have inspired you to go a little crazy with your
embellishments to create a fun layout like this one.
Till next time
Take care

Kitty Cat | Amanda Lawrence

Hi all!

Today I have a layout to share that I created recently while I was on a scrap weekend with a seriously awesome bunch of ladies!

These photos were taken of my daughter when she went to a Halloween night at her karate dojo last year.

I began by adding a little mixed media to my background before organising my paper layers. I used two smaller photos and a title piece I cut on my silhouette machine.

I layered some coloured paper doilies between my patterned paper pieces to add some interest. Embellishments were an assortment of paper flowers, a chevron journal round, flair from the 'Pretty Kitty' set, a sequin bow and some resin pieces.

In my main cluster I used a black willow bloom that I had left from the January 'Just Add Paper' kit. There are plenty more colours of these available in the store here.

I finished by adding my journalling strips and finally my date which I layered on a journal card from a past JAP kit.

Hope you enjoyed my share for today.

See you next month,
Amanda x

Happy heart, by Amanda H

Hi all,
With some lovely layers of paper and a handful of D-lish Scraps embellishments, I created this page of my husband and I during a recent trip away overseas.

I stacked some paper layers and used some machine stitching, and some skinny washi tape. I love my growing collection of skinny washi tapes, that I have been gathering from Just Add Paper kits!
Amongst those paper layers, is a paper lace doily #useoneoneverypageifyoucan .
Let's look at some close ups: I have combined some flowers from JAP kits, with tea roses, resin flowers and red coloured wire.... Gold splatters tied it all together! Even some random red resin hearts made the page - I always love finding little finishing touches from my D-lish Scraps stash!
Here are the links to products in store:

Thanks for looking today!

Hi everyone.
My turn today with a mixed media LO for this month's Cybercrop challenge.

I started by smooshing (technical turn!) a couple of different sprays onto the background using the plastic bag technique.   When dry I added some impasto through a stencil and when that was dry I blended in some Distress Inks and added some random stamping.

I then added a canvas flower, wood veneer flowers and heart all from a previous JAP Kits, a leaf, some facted D'Lish dots, an Bitty bow clip, flowers, a minifetti sentiment, stamens and a resin flower scattered in three clusters.   I finished with a chipboard word for my title which I heat embossed.

Plenty of time still to enter the challenges over at The Scrap Suite.
Looking forward to seeing what you create.

"Selfie" by Renee Iveson

I am very excited to share the layout I created for the March Cyber Crop for my
challenge: Black & White +1

This layout features a photo my middle daughter Charlotte (whom we affectionately call Shirl).

I have included lots of gorgeous D-lish goodies into this creation. I love the 5 x 7 bags, as you can probably already guess I use them quite a lot as a photo mat for my pics.

For this layout I have used a D'Lish Scaps kit which included coordinated  paper doiliespaper flowersfabric bloomsFlairs and finished off with Enamel Dots.

You can find the details about the current Cyber Crop on the Scrap Suite page HERE on Facebook.

Looking forward to seeing your creations,

Renee xoxo

Playtime - Sandra Brimelow

Hi everyone, I am popping in with my second share for the month, and this one is for the March cybercrop in the Scrap Suite
Dusty is my sons dog, who lives with us, but I am very attached to him, he so intelligent, and he has a wonderful personality. His favourite thing in the world is to play ball, and he just is not happy if he has a day without ball play. He has very specific balls that he plays with, and he also can create his own games with the ball.
The first cluster features a flair button and Corbetts Creations wood veneer star.
The second cluster also features a Corbetts Creations wood veneer starwordfetti tab, and Creative cuts circle cuts.
I hope we get to see your pet creations feature in the Scrap Suite.
Until next time, happy scrapping.
