I hope you enjoyed your school holidays, either holidaying somewhere warm, cold, or simply being around home.
I was thrilled to be able to spend the school holidays with my boys. Given the nature of my work, I tend to work through the holidays, generally.
Fortunately, we had a gorgeous, sunny day – so ventured out to the seaside for the day! It was a relaxing day.
I thought that the Kraft paper would be best to compliment the photos here.
Behind the photo, I layered some hand-torn scraps of paper.
For the background, I used some modelling paste with the ‘Alpha Stencil’ from the D-Lish Scraps Store – and placed a roughly cut strip of Punchinella on top.
Behind the photo, I used a gold foil doily, as I love to use a bit of bling, when I can. 😊
To embellish the photo, I used the following items from the D-Lish Scraps Store: a flair, paper flowers, and a wood veneer title.
The teal-coloured twine behind the layers was used to wrap the ‘A Touch of Luxe’ JAP kit, by Amanda Lawrence.
For this small cluster, on the top right hand corner, I have used a flair, paper flower and some washi tape from this same JAP kit.
The gold washi tape was from a past JAP kit. The sequins scattered around the page were from my stash.
Overall, I am happy with how this simple but evocative page turned out.
Thank you for popping by.
See again in August!
