"Hello Sweet" by Anthea

I recently had the pleasure of attending one night at a retreat with some old (and new) friends in Victoria.
It was so nice to see them again and get creative - however - my creative juices were just not flowing for some reason.  I think I started 3 different LOs before  deciding to just pick a picture that I love and just do a simple LO with that.  This was the LO that came from that photo.
Now I know that the LO is very simple, but I love the way it came together with very little effort.  Other than the photo, the paint and the cotton - everything on here is D-lish.  I think this LO just goes to show that a little D-lish can go a long way.

My LO started with a swipe of paint across my little Gelli pad which I simply stamped on to my page.  I then scrunched up some black cotton and secured that to my page.  I then placed a purple lace doily at the back of my popped up photo.
I then placed the title, which is made simply of unaltered creative cuts on either side of the photo.
The photo is mounted quite high, so the title also needed little bits of mounting foam to make it sit right.  I then added some enamel faceted dots in a matching colour around the photo.
To finish it all off - I simply added a tiny bit more paint to the bottom right of my LO, cut up a journal card and secured that phrase.  A tiny purple pick and place bow was added to finish the whole LO.
Thanks for coming to look at my LO.  Whilst I know it is very simple - it is still a LO that I really like and I hope you have been inspired to try and create your own LO with lots of white space - it really is a technique that never fails to highlight a gorgeous photo.
Till next time
Take care.
