Hi all! Here is my first share for this month. Pictured here is my eldest, eating ice-cream!
I had to sneakily take the photo with my phone on the table, as Mr 14 was refusing to pose for photos. So, of late, I am finding myself trying to take some shots without him knowing. It’s the only way at the moment. I’m sure some of you are nodding your heads in agreement here!
Anyway, I started this page with some heavy cardstock. Using an old plastic gift card, I swiped the paint colours of the rainbow onto the cardstock. Old gift cards are great for this.
I then applied some modelling paste over a stencil with stars on it. The D-Lish Scraps store has so many to choose from.
I then did some stamping with a black permanent ink – and finally, adhered my photo to the centre of the page.
Then the fun really began – embellishing time!
The title here is a wood veneer one from a past JAP kit. I did a little journaling on one of the Journal It’s, from the store.
A flair button and Bitty Bow Clip have been used in this little cluster. The arrow is handmade by Charms Creations.
I have kept the embellishing to a minimum on this page, as it is quite a colourful page and would have too much happening, otherwise.
On the top left corner, I have used another flair button and washi tape from a past JAP kit. I couldn’t resist myself as had to have a border. The use of the ‘XXX’ washi tape was perfect, as it mimics a hand-stitched border.
I am really pleased with this page!
Thank you for dropping by.
