My Challenge for this months CC is currently running
at the Scrap Suite.
My challenge this month is simple - you need to scrap a photo of YOU! I don't mind if there are a 'few' others in the photo with you but YOU must be in the photo and a key player in the photo.
I started with a photo of my hubby and I from earlier this year knowing that I wanted the photo to be the main feature of the page, so I kept the whole LO very simple.
I started with some very messy stencilling with a purple texture paste through another favourite D-lish stencil. I wanted to add some more colour to this and decided simply to add some watercolour pencil lines here and there around the stencilling. It is all very messy, but that is what I was wanting.
I then added flicks of black mist and some black stamping. I then scattered these gorgeous flower sequins over my design. Somehow I had never seen these in the shop before - now that I have I think I will be using them...a lot. They come in other colours but I only picked out the ones that I felt worked with the LO.
I then added my title which are 'vintage D-lish' alphas. I can't believe I still have some in my stash.
I didn't have an & so I cut up some letters that I am not likely to use and created my little + with that way.
Then to finish my LO I simply placed a D-lish sequin bow in the corner.
That is it. Just a quick, fun and simple LO that I am pretty happy with.
Thanks once again for looking and I really hope you give my challenge a go. It will be great to see photos of everyone and put a name to the face and you have the chance to win a fabulous prize JAP kit. It is a win-win situation. If you don't win and you want a gorgeous JAP kit - don't forget to check out this months gorgeous kit here.
Till next time.
