Lucky me! I recently went on an awesome Scrapbooking Retreat with some wonderful people. I have been waiting to scrap this photo taken in the backstreets of the city of Melbourne. It’s worth walking through and checking out the fabulous street art.
First, I primed my page with clear Gesso, then splattered orange and blue ink around. After this dried, I used a permanent black ink and stamped randomly around the page.
Once the background was complete, it was time to layer the photo.
As pictured here, I trimmed strips of Punchinella and placed a blue mini paper bag behind the photo. In the store there, there is a huge variety of paper bags to choose from. I have trimmed down two words from the Journal It’s Minifetti, for subheadings. A favourite of mine – clear glass Cabochons – have been placed around the page.
From the fabulous limited-edition kits that Amanda placed in the store early this year, I have used the cutfile title and glitter pennant.
Both the wood veneer and embroidered speech bubble were from the past JAP kit – Boys Rule. A paper doily was also used: the orange was perfect to compliment the title.
In this small cluster, I have used a flair and surrounded with wire, D-Lish Dots and glitter stars, again, from the ‘Boys Rule’ JAP kit. I have also used some more clear glass cabochons.
Overall, I am pleased with this layout. I love the blue and orange combo!
Thank you for dropping by!
Ciao for now, Amy😊
