Hi there, D-Lish Scraps fans!
If you are like me, being a mum with boys with friends with parties to go to… then it is handy to be able to make masculine gift tags.
So here is how I created these tags.
First, I used packaging cardboard and cut into tag shapes. Then I adhered patterned paper onto them. Next, I used some ColourBlast Texture Paste in Dusty Charcoal.
Pictured here I used two D-Lish Scraps stencils.
After the texture paste dried on both tags then the fun could begin! Embellishment time!
As pictured here, on this tag, I have used the following items…
To complete the tag, I used the red twine from a past JAP kit. The red stars, silver cassette and Journal It’s are from the ‘Seriously Rad’ JAP kit.
The great thing about the JAP kits, is that the kit bits can be used for various projects later on.
Over to the second tag – as you can see, it is slightly different to the previous one.
I have built my layers here using cut up Punchinella, patterned paper, and coloured wire in black.
I have placed a Charms Creation Star inked in ColourBlast Roadbase and watered it down. To give a glittery effect, I used a glitter pen, then continued to add more embellishments consisting of a flair wooden button and finally, D-Lish dots – enamels.
Here are some more close-ups of the tags!
Thank you for stopping by!
