Seeing this month's Inspiration Board made me excited, as I love the bright and fun colours here.
We were fortunate to enjoy a rooftop dinner in Rome on our last night before returning to Australia, so I had the perfect photo!
I have kept this page very simple. After I placed down the bright pick paper from my stash, I splattered some ink onto the white. Then I began to work on some embellishments.
I absolutely adore the D-Lish Scraps lace doilies – as the doilies are white, it allows you the freedom to ink up to any colour of your choice. It fits with the inspiration theme. I coloured it with Colour Blast ‘lagoon’ colour spray.
I have also used a ‘Coloured doily’ in the aqua blue.
As pictured here, I have used a resin flower. The gold washi tape is from a past ‘Just Add Paper’ (JAP) kit.
The blue hessian picture here, was left over from the ‘Summer Squeeze’ JAP kit. I die-cut the love heart shape here and added an orange sequin bow that I found in my stash of goodies. These tiny little morsels are stunning, to me, for layouts – and even cards too!
Near the title here, I have used a paper flower.
I adhered a blue D-Lish Dot. The enamels in the shop are divine. They can be addictive!
Finally, in this cluster shown here, on top of my die cut film strip, I used the gorgeous Tropical Starburst paper flower. The blue hessian heart was the remainder from the previously mentioned die cut.
Included in this cluster, I used paper flowers, wood veneer leaves, and resin and metal flowers to finish it all off.
Thank you for checking this out. I hope it leaves you feeling inspired for your next project.
Ciao for now, Amy
