Taking a walk down memory lane | Michelle Stokes

Hello Hello! It's Michelle back again today with something a little different. Most of you will know that I've been part of the team here at D-lish for quite some time now, starting off as a Creative team member back in 2014 that solely worked with the Inspiration Board before being promoted to an actual DT member just over 2.5 years ago. I'm sure you're all sick of seeing me by now, but I'm still having way too much fun here!

For todays creative share I thought I'd take a trip back down memory lane and share a few of my most favourite creations made throughout the many years I've been here. There would have to be at least 100+ creations that I've made, including many that were shared in the ScrapSuite for our cyber crops. Oh and so many more made with D-lish Scraps goodness that weren't for this DT.

I've shared 20 of my all time favourites with links to the posts they were in so that you can read up on my process and products used. Lets get started.....

Heres a couple of favourites from my time on the Creative Team, starting with this sweet 8.5x11inch creation from May 2014. It's a favourite because it was one of the very first layouts I shared as a Creative Team member, and one that received loads of positive feedback from the wider scrappy community

Then there was this wonderful creation from August 2014, one of the very few times that I got a little messy on the background and tried my hardest not to let it stuff it all up lol

Another  mixed media background in December 2014. Jeepers I was brave back then, wish it felt that easy to create something magical now like it did back then lol

and lastly January 2015. A rainbow assortment of fun to document the celebration of Leila's 4th birthday. So sweet!

Now moving on to my time here as a Design Team member

Yet another of the very rare times that I went a little Mixed media crazy back in May 2015.. This by far would have to be the most work I've ever done on a background that I actually like lol

then this sweet layout of Leila as a baby that I created for an Inspiration board in June 2015. A completely different colour palette to use compared to what I am usually inspired by or create with.

The time I created something based on the background paper I used, and sprinkled D-lish pretties all the way around it, if only I took a non blurry photo of it! August 2015

By far this would have to be one of my favourites, the colours are just stunning, but again this was back when I was still trying to figure out how to take a decent photo lol September 2015

Remember that time I used a tissue box as a pattern paper on the background of a layout? January 2016

And another layout following along with the Inspiration Board for May 2016. Love the colours within this layout, and that cluster 😍😍😍

Next up is the time I used up most of my favourite flowers from the D-lish Store by creating a fun floral Marquee light. There are flowers within this light that I still wish I had more of. So pretty!

Then my obsession with Cocoa Vanilla Studio started, and a majority of my layouts consisted of pattern papers from their collections and loads of goodness from the D-lish Scraps store. This simple yet sweet layout was definitely fun to create

Next creation to share was one that I quite enjoyed making, although all my creations are enjoyable to make (I think lol). This layout was created for a challenge in the Scrap Suite using a past Just Add Paper kit that features a cool masculine palette. So fun!

A majority of layouts usually feature photos of Leila, whether they be current or photos from earlier in her sweet life. Cant believe that in less than 2 weeks this sweet babe will be 7! This creation is by far one of my most favourite and documents a photo around the time of her 1st birthday.

As were heading into the busy Christmas season, I'm reminiscing about the fun we had last year, and the laughter over certain presents Leila received. This layout and photo perfectly encapsulate Leila and her seriously FUN way of enjoying Christmas.

Next up is another Off the page creation that I shared earlier this year. A gift for a work friend that had just become a mumma, and was after a special something to hang in her room. A special little rainbow baby, that deserved a special assortment of rainbow goodness

Now this creation, looks to be the most simplest of all my creations, but seemed to take forever as I just couldn't get the placement of all the bits just right lol In the end it turned out magical (well in my eyes it did) Love me some Creative Cuts and mini paper flowers 😍

Moving right along to another non layout creation - the time I used up random bits n bobs from past Just add paper kits to create a bunch of cards for special friends and family members

Almost to the end, I promise 😉
One of the more recent layouts I created for the magical Over the Rainbow Inspiration Board, using nothing but coloured cardstock and the Just Add Paper kit to match the board. Its amazing what a few old paper punches can create

And lastly this beautiful creation I made the other week using a photo I've scrapped many times, and felt I never did it any justice, until now. I am so so happy with how this layout came together. 2x2 inch squares of pattern papers along with one massive cluster of all my current favourite things from the D-lish Store. All kinds of magic were created on this day 😍

Well there you have it, my top 20 favourite creations that I've made here through my time as a Design Team of Creative Team member. Theres still plenty more to come, cause I'm not going anywhere anytime soon ( I don't think lol)

Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a stroll down memory lane.
Until next time, Happy Scrapping!
Michelle xx
