#Smile by Amy Churchward

Happy New Year!!

I hope you are enjoying a relaxing start to 2019, wherever you are! I am excited to be here with my first share for the year - having just returned home from a fantastic break in hot and
beautiful Western Australia.

Today, I am sharing a layout I created using a photo of my eldest, Joshua, from when he was 4 years old. It was captured in the mountains of Canada. The lushness and vibrancy of the green grass here really captivates me.

I love this photo so much, as it represents calm and innocence. So I wanted to keep the page really simple.

For the background, I used a green spray mist over a 'Scattered Stars' stencil from the store. I then set it aside to dry and prepared the photo.

As pictured, behind this photo, from the store I have used - Punchinella, resin flowers, a printed tag, and a creative cut heart from the Christmas 2018 kit.

After these layers were completed, I adhered the photo in place - and then continued to embellish the page with goodies from the store. These included coloured wire, fabric flowers (yellow), a coloured die-cut butterfly, a flair, and a mini metal flower.

I used a quote from Journal It's Wordfetti and - from the Christmas 2018 Advent Kit - the wood veneer - and Creative Cut title 'Love'. I have placed this over a coloured Charms Creations circle - to complete the page!

Thank you for popping by - and stay cool!
