Hi All! Did you watch the race that stops the nation yesterday? ...seeing
the fashions... and having a punt is a long-standing tradition for the Melbourne
Cup.
I have here a selfie taken with my eldest, Joshua, in the Yarra Valley
region of Victoria.
On this particular day, we visited the Chocolaterie there, and sampled some
divine sweet goodies: it’s good for the soul! 😉
I love working with ‘brights’, so I decided to play with yellow for a
change.
As pictured here, for the background, I used yellow acrylic paint and swiped
with a used plastic gift card.
Then, over some of the painted area, I tore
strips of D-Lish Scraps Washi tape from a past JAP kit.
Also on the page, I have
used sequins, a resin butterfly and a rose.
Behind the photo I have used Puncinella (love this stuff) and a Creative Cuts speech bubble.
Around the photo, I have used a yellow fabric flower and a wooden shaped button.
For the title, I used black ink on a speech bubble from the Creative Cuts collection in the store.
Finally, for the subtitles, I trimmed down some Minifetti words that I
thought would be appropriate for this page.
Thank you for stopping by!
See you later this month – ciao for now, Amy 😊
