I don't know about you but this year has been simply whizzing by. With Christmas decorations appearing in the shops I decided it was time to scrap a few a last year's photos. I know I've mentioned I love to cook and Master Chef (along with Survivor - but that's a whole other story) is one of my favourite programs. I hosted Christmas lunch for 14 family and friends this year and was inspired to create a desert tasting plate in the hope that everyone would at least like something!
Normally I start with a white background but I was inspired by a challenge set by Amanda H. in last month's Scrap Suite so I used a coloured background. I started with my go to stencils and paste to create my background. I fussy cut some patterned paper and then started to embellish.
I added a couple of clusters; the first one built around this gorgeous fabric flower which includes some paper and resin flowers, a resin butterfly, some leaves, wordfetti from a previous JAP Kit, stamens and sequins.
I then added a smaller cluster near my title, duplicating a lot of the elements from the first cluster.
Hope you feel inspired inspired.
