1 Small Step by Tracey

Hi all!
This is my very first post ever as a Design Team member so super excited to be here at D-Lish Scraps and more than a little nervous so please bear with me while I learn on the job!

Here is what I created inspired by the October "Boy Wonder" Inspiration board.

I know I'm showing my age here but I vividly remember the moon landing so it was a thrill to actually visit the Kennedy Space Center earlier this year.

I started by cutting out the NASA logo from a plastic bag I received from the obligatory gift shop and adhered it to my page with gel medium.   I then used some modelling paste through a star stencil and when that dried, smooshed a couple of different sprays over the top using the plastic bag technique.

I layered my photo with some bits from a past JAP Kit.

I added my journalling to a journal-it spot, added a flair button and sewed on some star buttons, also from a past JAP Kit.

I painted some Creative Cuts with black gesso and the wood veneer rockets from the "Boy Wonder" JAP kit and added a little bling.   I finished off the page with some sequins, string and those super cute teeny tiny stars from the JAP Kit.

Thanks for looking and hope you've been inspired.
