Hi all! Spring is here! … and so, this is my first share for September. I came across a pile of left over papers in my stash and thought – beauty!... I can make some more cards.
It’s always handy to have spare cards for different occasions – you never know!
For the cards, I used a variety of embellishments from the D-Lish Scraps store over the patterned papers.
These cards were easy and simple to create – and I really enjoyed adding to these pretty colours and patterns!
For this card, I used Washi tape from a past JAP Kit. And from the Store - paper doily, flair and paper flowers.
As pictured here, a black paper doily was used as the main backdrop. With a fabric bloom, flair, shaped wooden button and tassel in black. The red ribbon is from my stash. I have used the black twine from the packaging that Amanda wraps the JAP Kits with.
Against the wooden paneled patterns, it was the perfect opportunity to use the wood veneer mason jar. This is from a past JAP kit, alongside the sequins and washi tape. The pink bow is a Pick ‘n’ Place Bow, in canvas.
Finally, over the pretty pink dotted paper, I have used a die cut Journal Card – mason jar from the ‘Flights of Fantasy’ JAP kit. The sentiment was hand-stamped by me.
The sequins fabric bow and Washi tape are also from previous JAP kits.
It was super quick and easy to put these cards together – and a great way to use up paper offcuts.
..and there are so many fantastic embellishments that you can use, to your liking, in the D-Lish Scraps store!
