Here is a fun share of a LO I did of my son. He was pretty young here and his primary love was football.
As is typical for many of my boy LOs my LO is a bit grungy.
I started by smushing blue and red paint with a plastic bag all over my LO and where I thought I would want my photo to sit.
I love this technique and find I am using it a lot lately. I love how it gives a watercolour feel to the LO and how you get a hint of purple where the two colour mix. I then added some ink through a D-lish stencil to give more texture to the background.
I then placed my mounted photo on the LO and placed any enamel and resin stars I had on hand on my LO. I am fairly sure that both lots of stars came from a past D-lish JAP kit. I love that I use them often but still seem to have lots in my stash. I also added some chipboard chevrons to the LO.
I then made a frame out of coloured wire and used that to highlight the subject in my photo.
To finish, I used a Go Press to add some funky bright blue foil to my wood veneer title. It hasn't shown up in the photos as well as I would like, but this is a holographic type paper and is even 'cool'er looking in real life.
I am pretty happy with this LO and I hope you like it too.
Thanks for stopping by to take a closer look.
Till next time.
