Today I start with making a huge SHOUT OUT to the owner of D-lish Scraps - the lovely and talented Amanda Lawrence. There seems to be no end to her design ideas. Her products choices, eye for colour and ability to design means that EVERY month there is something new and wonderful at D-lish. We are so lucky!
My page today is focused on one of those products she designs - Creative Cuts. I do not have a fancy cutting machine - no time, space or money for one of those - so instead I rely on Amanda's Creative Cuts! There are so many designs. So many options. Including Unicorns.....
This beautiful unicorn Creative Cut inspired my page, which inspired my Cybercrop challenge over at The Scrap Suite!
Here is the challenge details from the Scrap Suite.
Can you create a unicorn inspired page?
Let's look at some close ups to see some of the details on the page.
The main focus of the page is the unicorn. I fussy cut shiny silver paper under the mane and the nose, and vellum under the head.
For the unicorn horn, I placed shiny glitter silver paper. Then I topped with resin flowers, Little Birdie flowers, pearl cabochons and D-lish enamel dots.
The Unicorn Dreams Creative Cut set also included the word "dreams" - which I used as DREAM, for my title; and some diecut stars, which also made the page. I sprinkled more pearl cabochons and D-lish enamel dots amongst this.
Alongside the photo, I created another cluster. I started with the silver Sequin bow and to this added: Little birdie flower, resin flowers, D-lish Scraps Flair button from Flights of Fantasy Just Add Paper Kit, D-lish enamel dots and a soft pink Cornflower.
Under the photo, I layered some vellum with a paper lace doily.
Thanks for stopping by to get all the details of my page today! Have a happy unicorn day.
