Hi All! I am here to share my take on this month’s Cybercrop Rainbow challenge. You can make either a tag, card, or OTP project. Basically, anything, really, as long as it has a rainbow theme to it. I have previously scrapped this photo, but am doing it again, as I thought it would be a very good match for the rainbow theme.
As you can see, I began the process of using the colours for the rainbow by ink-spraying a sheet of white cardstock completely.
Once dried, using dies from my stash, and using my trusty Cuttlebug, I cut the hearts out. This process did take a while, mind you. However, once adhered down onto a sheet of white paper cardstock, I think it was all worth it!
After this I randomly added some coloured splatters over the page.
I used strips of tissue paper, hand torn, that were left over from various JAP kits: you know, the ones that Amanda neatly folds into a tidy paper square! Anyway, this is what I used as the backing for my photo of my boys with their cousins.
I raided my D-Lish Scraps stash and have used the following goodies carefully selected to compliment the rainbow theme: a flair, sequins, resin flowers, and a pink bow from the ‘Love Like This’ JAP kit, and a resin polka dot button.
For the title shown here, I heat-embossed the wood veneer words (again, from February’s ‘Love Like This’ JAP kit. To be honest, it is not quite how I thought it would turn out, but that is art for you!
In the little cluster behind the title, from the D-Lish Scraps store, I have used a resin flower and yellow blossom branches from the same kit.
And finally, a shaped wooden button with a star on it: with an enamel D-Lish Dots in orange popped on top.
I’m really looking forward to see your wonderful projects in this month’s CC Challenge!
Please join us on the Scrap Suite and play along!
Thanks, Amy 😊
