I’m back here with my last share for the month of May!
I have here, a photo that I managed to sneakily capture of my son at his soccer club T-shirt presentation day. I love the contrast of the orange against the green pitch.
To prepare the background, I used White Heavy Gesso from ColourBlast and added some splatters of the Gesso, as well. I created layers behind the photo using patterned papers and remnants from a bag of oranges – handy!
I then adhered the photo – and so it was time to embellish! 😊 ...
Pictured here, I have used a paper doily in black. I was able to stamp the date onto one of the die cut journal cards from the ‘Boys Rule’ JAP kit. I have created a circular motion with the black wire. The D-Lish Scraps coloured wire is quite flexible, so can be easily manipulated into the shape or word of your choice! Throughout the page I have randomly placed both D-Lish Dots and sequins.
In this cluster, situated on the left-hand side of the photo, I have used the following D-Lish goodies: a flair, coloured wire, D-Lish Dots, paper flowers, and a wood veneer, again from the ‘Boys Rule’ JAP kit. I was able to use the circle tag that Amanda attaches to the JAP kit, as the title for my page.
To complete the page, for this small cluster, I have used a polka dot washi tape, paper flower, D-Lish Dots, and the silver circle is from my stash. Both the wood veneer and trimmed down die cut journal card are from the ‘Boys Rule’ kit.
I love how this page has turned out, I so love the ‘Boys Rule’ JAP kit. I have been able to use this over a few projects now.
Thank you for stopping by.
Until next time, take care.
