Hello D-lish Scraps fans,
Welcome to May... and page shares from the DT for the new "Flights of Fantasy" Inspiration Board.
Here is my take on the Inspiration Board. I picked up the colours, and using some mini prints (old wedding photo proofs), I shrunk the sketch. I was so happy with how this turned out!
Here is the board that inspired me. All the details are on the blog and in The Scrap Suite.
To create my page I started with some grey striped paper, some white cardstock and some patterned vellum. I combined these papers with machine stitching.
Then I stacked my photos on a paper lace doily in the top right portion of the page, before loaded lots of lovely D-lish Scraps goodies diagonally on the page.
In these close ups you can see some of the details.
Here you can see some lovely flowers - a pink Sakura Bloom, a white Cabbage Rose, and grey resin flowers. I also added some leaves and buttons and sequins from my stash. There is also a pink bow from a past kit.
For the title, I combined some wordfetti from a Past kit, with a epoxy word. And this is layered with sequins and a paper rose. Did you notice the silver enamel dots??? They are coming soon to the D-lish Scraps store!!!!
At the top right corner of the photos, I repeated more elements.... More wordfetti, paper rose, enamel dots and sequins. Also a lovely Flair button - there is one for every occasion.
I did add some subtle splatters in pink and grey too!
Thanks for looking today. Can't wait to see what you create with this month's Inspo board.
