‘Bloom’ By Amy

Another month! Another Challenge! Yippee!

Yesterday the March challenge was launched – and today I am sharing the page I created using butterflies, butterflies and more butterflies!

A fun butterfly fact: butterflies cannot fly unless their body temperature is more than 30 degrees Celsius!

First, I have built up my page using patterned paper.

Behind my photo I have prepared the background by stamping and using some ColourBlast texture paste in the ‘Leather’ under the photo. I have made layers, consisting of paper doilies and foil doilies.

Pictured here, I have used a wooden heart-shaped button and D-Lish Dots. The butterflies, as pictured, are both stamped and hand-cut.

As pictured here, I sprayed the lace butterfly with ColourBlast ‘Rainforest’ colour spray and watered it down to tone it down, for the page, and finished it with a D-Lish Dot.

In this small cluster on the left corner of my photo I have used: a flair button, D-Lish Dots – faceted, Pick n Place bows and paper flowers.
Here are some close-ups of the page, for your perusal.

Thank you for stopping by! I look forward to seeing how you go with your interpretation of the challenge!

Ciao, Amy
