"Brighton Beach" by Anthea

Hi all.  How are you all doing?  It has been a crazy couple of months as we start the new year.  As one of the staff at work who does holiday relief, I find this is the time of year where I am working what feels like non-stop hours.  I am working at least full time hours most weeks, which means I have so very little time to scrap.
This page was created on a day where I really didn't have a whole lot of time to do lots of background work - so I simply painted on a bit of white paint on a piece of patterned paper and the rest of the LO was done totally with D-lish embellishments and goodies.

I firstly ripped up some glitter washi tape (from a previous JAP kit) and laid that down.  Then I backed my page with a D-lish doily and then simply created a small cluster to the left of the photo.  The blues on my page are all different but work together well, I think, because blue is really the only colour on my page.
I used one flower, one bow and one flair and a few glitter dots. I liked the simplicity of the cluster but decided I wanted something to mess it up a bit.  I was going to use wire sticking out here and there, but instead used a piece of blue string, that I am fairly certain came as part of the packaging of a D-lish kit.
I then roughly placed some puffy alpha stickers and a few more piece of string and some glitter dots to finish the LO.
The whole LO probably took less than 30 minutes to create.  I know it is very simple, but I still like how it has come out and I hope that I have shown you that you really don't need a whole lot of D-lish products to create a LO that is bright and funky and still stands out amongst other LOs.
Thanks again for looking.
Till next time.
Take care.
