Happy 28th February!

You've been doubly lucky to have been touched by the leap-year fairies, which has brought you double daily layouts over the past couple of days!!

This was an easy quick one for me - and lets face it, with life so busy these days, a quick layout is a good layout!

After a quick swipe of black paint and some splatters of white POSCA pen, my background was done!
I've then pulled together some purple, teal, gold, black and white embellishments to scatter.
Layering is my thing, so I've put the punchinella first (the dotted and also the gold star one), and then just added the other embellishments on top.
And we're done!! So simple, even your pet labrador could do this! :)

Isn't that gold punchinella super cute?!

Love this puffy gold heart too!

I don't like anything going to waste, so I recycled the plastic ring off a jar and cut it up 'cause I really like the deep purple! :)

Here is the product list:

puffy gold heart (from a previous JAP kit)
glitter resin dot (from a JAP kit)
journal title (from previous JAP kit)

Don't forget to swing by the store for lots of lovely new products.

Happy February and I hope March brings many wonderful creative moments your way.

All my love

Hello Kmart Fun | Michelle Stokes

Hello Scrappy Friends! It's Michelle back today with my final layout share for this month. I've chosen to scrap a smaller size layout and followed along with the sketch from the current Cyber Crop that was designed by Owner/designer Amanda.

I've used some papers from a limited edition range by Cocoa Vanilla Studio that complimented the photo of Leila that I chose to scrap. A fun moment in Kmart when little Miss was trying on all the funny massive animal heads.

I created mini clusters of my favourite D-lish goodies including Little Birdie flowers, a D-lish flair, Ombre wordfetti and some faceted enamel dots.

To create the title I used some words from the Script Words Creative cuts set and some alpha stickers that were in store months ago.

To the right of the photo I created another cluster using pieces from the other cluster plus a shiny puffy gold heart from a past Just Add Paper kit. I also tucked in part of an older journal it card to balance out the purple colour that was in the other cluster.

All this came together pretty quickly thanks to the fun sketch that I followed along with. Heres a closer look at it, and a link to where you can find all the current Cyber crop challenges..

Well thats all from me today, thanks so much for stopping by. Be sure to share your challenge layouts with us in the Scrap Suite so we can see what you've created!

Until next time, Happy Scrapping!

"Love" by Mal

So I have a page to share with you that I did over the weekend...and I'm still loving scrapping without a that weird?

I kept this page pretty simple, wanting to add just a few embellishments to compliment my background and where my photo will go.

I added a button flair, from the new March Just Add Paper kit.

I used the string from a past Just Add Paper kit which I kept the wooden peg on and put it under my frame and over some book paper. I love string or twine to add a whimsical element and some dimension.

Next I wanted to add another element to my page that had some dimension so I took some microbeads from a past JAP kit and glued and sprinkled some over my page. I love the effect they give. I'll definitely be using them again.

Last but not least a title...a raw wood veneer title gorgeous are they? You know I love raw wood...should I have painted this one pink?

So that's it, a super quick page that I really love...what do you think?
Happy scrapping....Mal xxx

‘Sunshine’ by Amy

Hello there, D-Lish Scraps fans!

For me, not much beats a warm cup of coffee in the morning! Its one of my favourite things… I love the aroma, especially with breakfast. How about you? What is something that you enjoy that brightens your mood?
For the photo I simply snapped a shot on my phone and printed it out with my Selfie photo printer at home – a simple way to come up with the basis for a scrapbooking page.

I used some wood-panelled patterned paper for the background. Surrounding the photo, I have layered it with a combination of patterned paper and D-Lish Scraps goodies.

My main cluster as pictured here consists of a felt doily, paper flowers, and a flair button. The pinwheel is from my stash.

I have used a wooden button as the ‘dot’ for the ‘i’ in my die-cut title ‘Sunshine’. A lace paper doily has been placed behind this main cluster.

Finally, behind the photo, to soften the layering, I simply placed some left over ‘Journal It’s’ from a past JAP kit.

Simple, fun, creative.
 Inspiring too, I hope?..

… time to put the kettle on and do some scrapping?

Ciao! Amy

"Happy @ 10" by Jasmine Shea

There are 4 new fabulous challenges over at
so I hope you can join us and I look forward to seeing your wonderful creations.

My challenge for you this month is to use a 5x7 photo on your page.
I love seeing pages with big photos but not something I attempt myself very often.

I created my page about my daughter who turned 10 last year.
Because she was wearing blue & white I went to my papers and found some blue & white patterned papers but this would have been too much so I needed to add another colour which is why I went with the peach.  From there it was easy. Straight to my D-lish stash to find co-ordinating embellishments.
I have used a

Look forward to seeing what you create with a 5x7 photo.

"Days like this" by Anthea

 Hi there all.
How are you all doing this fine Saturday?  Hopefully you are enjoying your day, doing whatever it is that you are doing?
This week I am sharing my sample LO that I did for The Scrap Suite February CC.

For this LO I set myself a challenge to use more than one photo on a LO (and to also add some visible journaling to my LO.)  I know that I often only scrap one photo and I guess I wanted to prove to myself that I could use more than one.
I guess you could say I cheated by using photos that are all very similar - but I think that none of these photos are particular stand outs on their own and by grouping them together I think they tell more a of a story.
I wanted the photos to do most of the 'talking' in this LO - so I added two simple clusters (which include a carnation, 2 types of bows, a bunch of tea roses,  a cabbage rose, 2 magnolias, and a gorgeous flair from a previous JAP kit) with a bit of washi and punchinella tucked in behind.
I then added with a 'splatter' of sequins and enamel dots  and a simple journal tag to complete my LO. For people who don't do a lot of journaling on their LOs - the journal tags make it so much easier to keep it neat and tidy.
If you would like to see my challenge along with the other three challenges for this month, they can be found here.  Not only will you have fun creating, but there is a chance you could win a gorgeous prize kit for your efforts.
Hope to see you there.
Bye for now.

Meet the Trolls | Amanda Lawrence

Hi all!
We launched our February cybercrop over in the Scrap Suite last weekend. There are some really cool challenges to get you creating so be sure to check them out.

I am one of the challenge setters this month and I chose to do a sketch. Who doesn't love a good sketch?!

This is my sample layout I created ...

We were in Toys 'R' Us one Sunday morning and who should come strolling through? Poppy and Branch from The Trolls Movie. My daughter was so excited to see them so of course we had to get a photo!

Now lets have a look at the details:

I used one of the Chinese Peonies at my feature flower for this cluster. Also some Forget-Me-Nots and other paper flowers I collected from some past JAP kits. The sparkly cabochons were in a past kit too. I also layered a 6" lace doiley under my photo ... love these! The cluster was finished off with a Journal Its Polka Dot Date tab.

The second cluster had many similar elements. You can also see a bow (again from a past kit) and sequins from the grab bag. These are from the translucent mix. The flair is from the Advent Calendar if you were lucky enough to score one of those last year.

Lastly, here's a look at my sketch challenge ...

Be sure to stop by the Scrap Suite for details on how you can enter this and any of the other challenges this month.

Till next time,
Amanda x

"Loyal Pooch" by Amanda H

Hello D-lish Scraps fans!

There are some GREAT challenges over at The Scrap Suite this month and you have until mid-March to play along!

In this blog post you will get close ups and details for the page I created as a sample for my "Pets Parade" challenge.

I started with some white cardstock and green patterned paper, and adding some white splatterings of paint for interest. I layered a strip of vellum, a paper bag and lace doily (BACK IN STOCK!) under the photo. Then I went to town with my D-lish embellishments.
No automatic alt text available.
Here is the challenge and you can load your entries to this album in The Scrap Suite.

Look at that cute pooch..... perfect subject for this challenge!

I LOVE these Rustic blooms - this red one is perfect for my page.
I created this cluster by combining it with:

In the cluster on this I combined the same elements:

And never forget the Punchinella! It is great to tuck in corners. And even small scraps can be machine stitched into layers.

That's all for today!
Please join our challenges at The Scrap Suite! Super great prizes this month!

moments and memories | by Nicolee Cable

 Good Morning!!
Hoping your week has started well!

Well, I've decided to do a layout that I'm not so good at - Christmas!
Don't ask me why, but when it comes to Christmas photos - I balk and freeze and don't enjoy them!
Problem solved - go with a completely un-festive colour palette!
Well that's what I chose to do with this layout.

My layout was very quick and easy to create.
With the background soft lime green paper, I then grabbed some scraps of wood-look paper and other off-cut elements (cork scallops and paper strips) and then the embellishments were easily placed into clusters, just like that!

This wooden wreath is perfect and looks so cute with this little pick n place bow on top!

I grabbed about 4 stamens and then folded them in half and poked them under the flair button.  Isn't the flair cute!! At the time I wondered how I would use this cute christmas tree flair but when I pulled it out - it's found its home!
I've used quite a few different sized leaves in both clusters.

I popped this mini white resin flower into this metal cabochon frame and it fits perfectly.  A twisting of this mini leaves wire, a fold and tuck of the stamens, a couple of resin flowers and enamel dots and voila! Cluster complete!

Isn't this wooden deer button adorable!  Sometimes when I buy things, I'm not quite sure how I'll use it but I can't just pass it up!  It's perfect for this layout.

My journalling is also my title.  I cut up the strip from the bottom of a page and staggered it next to the photo.

Here are the embellishments used:

 washi tape

Check out the store for all your embellishment goodies and I'd love to see what you create.
Have a wonderful week.

See you around
