Too Cute | Amanda Lawrence

Hiya D-lish followers!
School started back in QLD here yesterday and I tell you .... silence is golden! Don't get me wrong, I love my kids to bits, but routine is much needed around here and I am looking forward to settling back into my groove and working uninterrupted for those hours each day.

My layout share today features my two kids. I'd like to think they're best of friends but it's not always the case. They're usually at their best when sneaking, conspiring or generally up to no good.
{insert photographic evidence here}

I found them both cuddled up in a sleeping bag together on the lounge room floor one morning at 6am. Goodness knows how they got there!

 I used a kraft background for this layout ... doesn't happen often, white is my goto almost always. I had this stunning heart cutfile I used as my main feature. This exact one isn't available from the store (it's not my design) but there are several other hearts available from our Creative Cuts range that would do the trick. Once I had all the base together it felt a bit lost so I handstitched around the edge to make it pop.

My first cluster was built around the Charms Creations heart. I used some paper flowers, flair, resin bird and a pretty sequin bow.

More paper flowers created a secondary cluster at the bottom edge of the page. The cabbage rose in orange was the perfect colouring for this layout. I also added a resin rose, cabochon heart (from the clearance section) and some enamel dots to finish it off.

I used a polka dot date tab from the Journal Its range at the top of my photo. This cluster is made up of a repetition of elements with an added Magnolia in white.

I hope you enjoyed my share for today!
Until next time,
Amanda x
