"Hello" by Anthea

Hi all and welcome to 2018.  I hope this year is a great one for each and every one of you and that all your hopes and wishes come true.
I thought I would start of the year with a very simple little layout of my gorgeous gal.....again!  Sorry - she really is my muse.  This photo of her wearing my shoes over her shoes always makes me smile.  We were dressed for a wedding and she looked absolutely adorable.
I wanted my back ground to reflect the flowers in her dress.  So I have used two different D-lish stencils with two different colour pastes and laid that down.  I know my background is  very tame for me, but if you saw my first effort where I threw caution to the wind....and didn't wait for layers to dry....I thought I better keep it simple!!
And in the end,  simple is what this LO is.  I ended up not using a whole lot of supplies at all but decided that the LO really didn't need much more than it has.
As usual for me - I then just went with the flow.  I added a few flowers here and there (I'm still not sick of flowers - sorry not sorry!) The flowers I have used are a cabbage rose and some daises from a previous JAP kit.
I then added a few little bits here and there. The bow is a D-lish bow that I think I got from another JAP kit. Unlike other bows I have used from other places, it sits ever so perfectly and was not hard to stick down at all. I then added some faceted enamel dots and some to make the layout pop.

I have included a close of the flowers to yet again show you just how pretty they are and just how much detail is in them.

To finish the LO off I added some strips of paper down the side and sewed them down as it was all looking at little too plain for me. I decided not to have a title with alphas as there was enough words, sayings etc. already on the LO.
Once again, thanks so much for looking.  I hope you have enjoyed.  I also hope that with even just a few perfect flowers and embellishments you can create a gorgeous layout.
Till next time.
Take care.
