"Remember this" by Mal

Hi all,

So mid week scrapping- who gets to do it? I don't much...just an hour here and there after work before kids get home...not enough that's for sure.
So last week I whipped up this page one day after work when I had a spare hour.

I keep telling myself I can't scrap portrait pictures...so I made myself do it with this page.
What do you think?

So before I even chose the photo I did my background. I used a template and some spray.
From there I saw the background was sort of vertical so I decided to be brave and use a portrait photo. Yep brave :)

Next I decided to keep all the embellishments soft and girly. I needed to be quick and have all my embellishments coordinated. So of course, I headed straight for my Just Add Paper kits (I have a small stash of them) and found the Indigo Glitz kit sitting on my desk unopened....Are you like me and have heaps of JAP kits and just don't want to use them just look at them!?! LOL.

Well I opened this kit and everything on the page is from it, except three small resin flowers.
Flowers, Bling heart, a gorgeous apricot tiny bow, Journal card, glittery washi tape....

How gorgeous is this kit? ...so girly and pretty.

Next, I stamped and added my resin flowers which I am addicted to. Three different sizes which I know is a bit weird but I just love them and add them to everything at the moment. I like to doodle around them too, with a magic pencil.

Last but not least I journalled on the journalling card from the JAP kit. I love how using this card is such an easy way of adding layering AND journalling to my page.

In store you will find similar individual products to ones I have used:
Elegance Blooms (I used the blue one from the kit)
Plenty of Journal-Its to choose from
More bows
Resin glitter hearts

So what do you think?
I know it's a pretty simple page and it was quick but that's the beauty of the JAP kits...it's all there; you really just have to add a photo!

Happy scrapping
xxxMal
