Tamara here again to share with you my latest layout. I have to say it's been a tough couple of weeks in our household, with lots of lurgies and general mid year busy-ness. This has meant my mojo has been a little MIA! In order to get this layout done, I went back to my basic plan of attack: grab white cardstock, pick a patterned paper, pick the colours out of it, add embellishments, stick it down! Pretty pleased with the result considering!
I went with the grey, blush pink and mustard/gold tones from the paper, and pulled out my embellishments to work with this. I love the tutu blooms, I really feel they make a statement but are still so soft!
I clustered this up with a pink and mustard paper rose, and then nestled that with the gorgeous 'hello' wood veneer. I then added some of the D-lish Puffy Alphas in grey to finish off my title. I added a couple of the new faceted enamel dots and a pretty pink Pearl Heart to add a little extra interest around my title.
I added another cluster to the other side of the picture for balance and used another paper rose, as well as a Bitty Bow Clip, and a gorgeous D-lish Flair.
You can see here that I tucked a beautiful lace doiley behind the matted photo, I love how this very gently softens and separates the photo from the page.
Thanks again for stopping by! I'd love to hear what your "go to's" are when you're lacking mojo!?
