Hello again D-lish Scrap fans!
Welcome to my second page share for August.
This one was inspired by a challenge at a recent retreat, where we had to use a piece of patterned paper from the lucky dip bag of papers. I got one with wooden geometric shapes and cut each one out rather than using the whole sheet of paper. I then distressed the edges, before piecing them together on some white cardstock and machine stitching them.
A feature on this page are the D-lish Creative Cut flowers.... I carefully cut more coordinating patterned paper to lay behind each flower. I layered these flowers with Creative Cut leaves and few more D-lish goodies, which you can see in these close ups.
I cut strips of Ombre Wordfetti (in yellow) and scattered them around the layout.
I also layered a pretty Lace Doily behind the photo.
Also scattered around the layout are some of the new "faceted" enamel dots, found in the D-lish Dots section of the website. These are so sweet!
I never miss a chance to use a sequin bow! Love them so much!
Thanks for looking today!
