Project Life with Agnus Kasprzak

Hi again, I'm back with another page from my Project Life album. I normally record things on a weekly basis but sometimes add an extra spread for special occasions, like I have done here for my son's 4th birthday which we celebrated at Wet n' Wild.

I have used design X and A page protectors and because I had so many busy photos with a variety of colours from the day I chose a neutral kraft base for all my filler cards.

I repeated several elements to create a nice flow from each pocket and used manila shipping tags with a mix of glitter washi tape, Journal It's and fun embellishments across both pages.

I added more embellishments directly onto a few of the photos to highlight some of the fun moments from the day.

Awesome Catch by Agnus Kasprzak

Hi there :) I'm back with another layout using more fabulous goodies from the D-lish store.  My boys spend a lot of time fishing and are always keen to show off their latest catch and I thought a page featuring one of their proud fishing moments would be perfect for my layout.

I used the versatile paper bags to combine red, yellow and blue diagonal stripes to give my page a bit of a nautical feel - these bags are fast becoming my favourite way of adding a burst of pattern and colour to my pages.

I backed one of the Freckled Fawn frames with vellum to help my title stand out against the patterns underneath, and tucked a library card Journal It's into one of the small paper bags to hold my journaling.

I dressed up my sub title using a cute resin heart and Freckled Fawn paperclip.

and continued the nautical theme with a range of tags and embellishments in the same colours. The colour block veneers are a great way drawing attention to certain parts of your page with a little pop of colour. I also used one of the epoxy seals to create a custom accent from my patterned paper.

Here's a list of all the goodies I've used from the D-lish Scraps Store...

Thanks for stopping by,
I've got another page from my Project Life album to share and hope to see you back soon :)

My Beautiful Girl By Kylie Cornish

Hello Kylie here
Sharing my last DT post for the month.
I'm still totally loving the new coloured wire range at D-lish that I just had to make another layout using it. My favorite way to use it, is to add it to my title work. I find the best way do this is to either write out or print out the word you need and then use this as a guide to help you bend your wire.

So here is my layout "My Beautiful Girl" using black wire to make the word Girl.

There is a product list at the end of this post, of what I used to create this layout.
Here are some close ups so you can see the products.

Hope you have liked my post for the month and I have help you find inspiration to use those awesome D-lish Scrap goodies in your stash or to purchase the ones you need ;)

Prima doll card by Leanne

Hi Leanne back with my last share for the month, I made this birthday card for my daughter Alannah. She asked me if I would make her a doll card so I thought I would add some D-lish goodies to her card. I just love using these Prima doll stamps you can dress them up so pretty and add beautiful embellishments to them. Well in the D-lish store you can find lots of pretty things to make these cards shine. I have used these lovely oval cardstock frames, Wood veneer heartspick and place bows which I added to the wood veneer heart. I have used a resin butterfly, pink heart doily and for my flowers I used a green tutu bloom, and small pink roses.

Pony Dress ups by Leanne

Hi Leanne back again to share another layout with you, this was a photo taken at my work Christmas break up. They had these cute little Shetland ponies there with dress ups all in a tub, and my two girls had so much fun decorating these poor little ponies. Hey I guess they were so used it they just stood there so placid taking it all in. Well for my layout I've used some paints and mists in behind my photo's with some layering. Well my D-lish goodies are some coloured Muslin, journal it coloured words, paper doilies, wooden pegs, wood veneer hearts and pink fresh arrows.

Here is a close up of the title I painted in gesso and then used gelato's dry. I added the cosmos daises in a cluster in between the two words and some roses.

Don't forget to pop by the store and stock up on all your D-lish yumminess!

Cyber Crop scrapping .. with Alz

Okay so I couldn't help myself. By the way good morning!!! With what couldn't I help myself? Scrapping for challenges. Last month my girlfriend Sandy came over for our regular, three day weekend scrap-a-thon. There was a Cyber Crop on and we decided to take part.

Note .. you might want to make yourself a cuppa as this post is a bit of a long one!   ;)

We worked out that over the weekend we had seven scrapping 'sessions' and if we scrapped 'hard' (LOL) we could achieve seven layouts each, or at the very least, six. That's a lot of scrapping for me!  As it turned out I managed a meagre four layouts, oh and a card. From memory Sandy created six layouts and a card. But (there's always a 'but' LOL) given the circumstances of the weekend I think I did pretty well. Everything went according to plan on the Friday, including watching the ANZAC Day service from the Somme, France. On the Saturday things went a little pear shaped when Sandy decided she wanted to edit and print more photos to scrap which meant a crash course for Sandy on how to use my Mac and PhotoShop. Plus another of my girlfriends, Michelle, came over to scrap. Michelle is a newbie so I spent plenty of time helping her with different things and, of course, with three of us scrapping together you can probably imagine the amount of chatting that went on. Saturday night I was just quickly checking in on one of my groups on FaceBook only to find that I had forgotten about a design team layout that was due the next day! Oops! That's so not like me. However it was on Sunday that everything truly fell apart and I managed only one layout. Another two girlfriends (one of whom was two days away from being induced!) popped over for 'a cuppa' mid morning, ended up staying on for lunch and then didn't leave until late in the afternoon. LOL!

Can I just say that there is nothing more beautiful in the world than the belly of a pregnant woman at full term? It truly is the most wondrous site to behold. It's like "there's a baby in there .. a baby!!!!" It truly is amazing.

Anyways enough of the chatter, and on to the layouts ..
