Easter Sunday Share with Kate

Hello! I hope you have had a wonderful Easter Sunday and Easter weekend. Instead of real candy for you, I thought I would share an eye candy treat with you today.

I love colour on my layouts and I love texture. The more tactile the better. D-lish Scraps sells a wide range of different embellishments- made from different materials that not only look fantastic, but they feel awesome to touch. I love the resin flowers in the store because they have amazing grooves within the resin. Anything crochet feels so soft to touch, and the paper flowers have embossed-type petals that look so real!

Vintage Roses 2cm

Flourish with a Bling Chloe Pearl Flourish <----- D-lish Scraps is a very proud stockist of Flourish with a Bling products, and has a large range of fantastic bling!!

I loved using these pink, aqua, orange, cream tones on this layout. I cut my flourish up to get the most of it and poked it out of the clusters at various points to create the flow of the embellishments. The buttons are just fabulous, really fun and create pop!

Design Team Share with Sharmaine

Hi everyone
Don’t you just love the fun you can have with D-lish Scraps products??
Today I have three layouts to share with you.
Three pages that I just let loose and had fun creating.

One this page, of our youngest daughter and my best friend, I used some washi tape, tiny heart buttons and rhinestones

My next page is about a regular occurrence over the school holidays.

I’ve used washi tape (love the triangle tape), bright star buttons,

Orange sequins and Peacock Blue sequins

I also used some gold photo corners

and altered them with some 3D paint (from Kmart) to make them orange.

and my last page of fun is this one, with a photo taken on the first day of school.

Some fun with washi tape, crochet flowers (double layered 30mm)tiny retro buttons and red spot buttons

Love these camera charms and oh boy do I looove flair!

I also used some washi tape to alter the “happy” die cut.

Thought I would show you how
I backed the die cut with some washi tape

so the sticky side showed through the word (and arrows)

I then covered this with some black glitter

and removed the excess glitter before adding it to my page.

Lots of fun.
Thanks for letting me share it with you today.
Happy creating.

Raquel Bowman - March DT Share

Raquel's Blog: A Blessed Life

Hello everyone, I am excited to be back again to share another couple of layouts I have created with gorgeous D-lish Scraps products.

The first layout I am sharing today I created for the monthly Show us Your Stuff challenge. The challenge was to use either the word excite, excited, excitement or exciting on your layout.

I decided I wanted to document the big moment of my little girl nearly rolling. I was so excited about this, that every time she would turn to her side I was waiting for that moment when the 'big roll' would actually happen.

Layout title: So close to rolling

I sprayed a scallop canvas cut with Colorshine mist, love the glitz-y effect it has. You can also see close up detail of the White CM Ruler washi tape and seam binding bow (one of my new fave things to do).

Close up of bitty bloom sprayed with ColorShine spray, Star wooden button and sequin

I am in love with the Clever Sequin Pick-up Pencil  in the store. The sequins magically stick to the end of it, I can then dab a little bit of liquid glue, in my case I use glossy accents and voila! Adhered easily without sticky fingers :)

D-lish Products:
Washi Masking Tape - White CM Ruler
Wooden Star Buttons - Dark
Seam Binding - Coral
Canvas Cuts - Scallops
Canvas Cuts - Stars
Loose Cup Sequin Mix - Bright
Bitty Blooms - White

Other Products:
Papers: White card stock, Studio Calico 'Snippets' Patterned Papers
Alphabet: Carolee's Creations tiny alpha
Die Cuts: Studio Calico 'Sundrifter' die cuts
Embellishments: Studio Calico 'Snippets' chipboard arrows, A Piece of Cake Designs 'Cherry Flair' button
Other: Staples, white thread, Dear Lizzy Date Stamp, Give a Girl a... Keen as Mustard Stamp Set, Silhouette Cameo, typewriter

The next share from me is a layout I created using the March 1st Stuck! Sketch.

Layout title: A Girl and her Ted

This large flower with the resin flower cluster in the middle is actually a trellis rose which is normally quite large and bulky, keep scrolling down to see a brief picture tutorial on how I adapted the rose to suit this page.

I love the new butterfly sequins in the store. I found it easy to attach with my trusty long arm stapler.

D-lish Products Used:

Paper Doiley 5.5 inch Pink Polka Dot
Seam Binding - Pink
Resin Forget Me Nots Grab Bag
Clever Sequin Pick-up Pencil
Loose Sequin Mix - Butterfly
Mini PVC Doilies - White
Medium Resin Rose Grab Bag
Trellis Roses - Pink
Cosmos Daisies - White
Charms - Feather
Resin Flower Clusters Grab Bag
Washi Masking Tape - Watercolour

Other Products:
Papers: White card stock, Studio Calico 'Sundrifter' range
Alphabet: Studio Calico, American Crafts 'Thickers'
Embellishments: Studio Calico 'Sundrifter' stickers and die cuts
Other: Silhouette Cameo, white thread, staples, typewriter

TUTORIAL - Creating your own resin centered rose.

Take your Trellis Rose

Grasp the center bud.

Remove the center bud, press down the connecting flower wire so it is not sticking up.

Glue the resin flower cluster in the centre.

I decided to finish the flower by hanging a Charms - Feather  to the bottom. To do this I threaded it onto the flowers wire.

Well I hope you have enjoyed the layouts I created this month and the mini tutorial on adapting the trellis rose :)

Before we know it another month will be over and I will be sharing again.

Take care, xxx

Tarrah McLean-March DT Share...

Hi everyone!!!
It's Tarrah here with you today to share some D-Lish Scraps layouts with you all, thanks so much for joining me!!

First up today I have used some of my leftover Amy Tan 'Ready Set Go' collection from my Masters win. I can tell you I don't have much of this left, I just ADORE it!! I have used every last bit I could!!

I just had to add one of  those gorgeous bright Word Burst Flair Badges to this layout and I also love those Wooden Bingo Numbers as well.

The four other D-Lish goodies I added are that cute cream Flag with the Love word, the yellow and red spotted washi tape, the bright Chevron Journal It for my journaling and last but not least I added one of Amanda's awesome personally designed Valentine Printables-if you go to this link, you can scroll right down to the bottom to download them and best of all they are in the Freebie section!!!

This next layout I entered in the February Crate Paper blog challenge to use Red on your layout......I was very lucky and very excited to place as one of the runner's up for this challenge and so this layout was featured on the CP blog.....other than using Crate Paper I thought this layout was perfect to add a few gorgeous pieces from D-Lish....I can never go past those gorgeous large carved resin hearts so I added the red one which was perfect to go with my theme.

So again I have made use of those beautiful Valentine Printables designed by Amanda herself!!! You can find out how to download them when you click on the link...

I just love these next photos of my Mum with my eldest son, they are quite old photos now as he is 7 years old but I came across them the other day...they show what a beautiful close relationship they share together.

Do you spy those super cute Mini Resin Pastel Butterflies on the layout below? They are adorable and available in store now....they come in a grab bag too so you get loads of them!!

I have loads of yummy D-Lish goodies on this layout....I LOVE the journal spots so much, I love to layer them with other embellishments, here I have layered a white Sentiment Spool Top Journal It with a bright Jumbo Ticket Date Journal It   I have also added a few small embellishments to finish......these are the Cabochon Flower, the small black Etched Heart Button, the funky Wooden Heart Button and the White Flag...

So that's it from me today, be sure to check back in a few days for more delicious D-Lish inspiration from the other Design Team girls....happy scrappin and I will catch you next time!!!

Tarrah x
